I spoke sternly about the way this dispensation is to be run because it is important we get it right now and do it with the right hearts. It was not meant to diminish or devalue any leader but rather to let us know that what went on in the last dispensation was not how the Lord runs the body of Christ; God leads us, and he does not take by force from his children. The cause was infiltrated and hijacked and it is important we do not allow that old spirit in this time. I truly appreciate that errors were made because some were deceived. We are better at it now and discernment is now increased. The spirit of God will run it and we will follow. He continues anew with those who desire the house of the Lord and nothing more: his Faithful ones.
Our examples are the faithful Fathers and Apostles of old. As the Apostle Paul said in 2 Corinthians 1:24EXB,
"We are not trying to ·control [rule; lord it over] your faith. You ·are strong [stand firm; are well established] in faith. But we are workers with you for your own joy."
In the Complete Jewish Bible version:
"We are not trying to dictate how you must live out your trust in the Messiah, for in your trust you are standing firm. Rather, we are working with you for your own happiness."
As I prayed a few weeks ago, the Lord said the time is now. However, the lust for control is contrary to the spirit of grace. The songs, skills, gifts, and guidance from the spirit of God are for the upliftment of all, including those bearing those gifts. As the Lord Jesus taught his disciples about how they should be treated in ministry:
"Anyone who welcomes you welcomes me, and anyone who welcomes me welcomes the one who sent me. Whoever welcomes a prophet as a prophet will receive a prophet’s reward, and whoever welcomes a righteous person as a righteous person will receive a righteous person’s reward."Matthew 10:40 -41
He also taught them to:
“Stay in that house, eating and drinking what they give you; for the laborer is worthy of his wages. Do not keep moving from house to house." Luke 10:7
And Paul expanded:
"Who at any time serves as a soldier at his own expense? Who plants a vineyard and does not eat the fruit of it? Or who tends a flock and does not use the milk of the flock?" 1 Corinthians 9:7
I am not saying this primarily for my own sake but because the things that grieve the Holy Spirit are often the types of things that we overlook. If indeed a man is anointed to serve the body of Christ, the spirit of God will not tolerate any disrespect, even if not willfully done.
We are taught: " And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice." Ephesians 4:30-31
Honour is both ways. We must honour one another by recognising the spirit of YHWH in each one rather than just focusing on the parameters the world focuses on. Only by this will the Lord work in us to flourish as his people.
This is not part 2 of phase one. This is the right way of working—instructed by respect and honour of all, carefully choosing what we listen to, hear, run with, speak, and associate with by discernment. We are all servants of YHWH; that is how we see and honour each other. In this, we show our fellow brothers and sisters a worthy example of God's household.
I will be glad to work with those who respect the order of this new dispensation. Thank you for all you do in the Lord's house. You are honoured and appreciated.
