Seek ye the Lord all ye people

Seek ye the Lord all ye people,

Turn to Him while He is near,

Let the wicked forsake his own way,

And call on Him while He may hear.

Ho, everyone who is thirsty,

Come to the waters of life,

Come and drink of the milk and the wine,

Come without money and price.

And there is peace like a river,

And glory divine,

If you’ll come to the water,

If you’ll taste of His wine,

There is love ever flowing,

And joy ever full,

And there’s life everlasting

For us all.

You may ask where is the next call to action.

Directions were given last week but have been unable to communicate them. I now realise that the Lord was giving us time to restructure, reposition and for some of us, repair or heal. He is aligning and realigning all hearts to his true vision.

In so much as Christ died for us humans (and if each of us were the only one in the world he would still come), God never trains his children to be 'ME' centered. YHWH trains us to be other-centered - “For God so loved the world that he gave his only and unique Son, so that everyone who trusts in him may have eternal life, instead of being utterly destroyed. For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but rather so that through him, the world might be saved. '' John 3:16 -17 CJB

He trains our hearts to be giving hearts like his, so our fellowship is based on mutual self-giving trust, devotion and submission. We breathe, live and work to serve his desire not because we are 'made to' but because we want to.

''I can’t do a thing on my own. As I hear, I judge; and my judgment is right; because I don’t seek my own desire, but the desire of the one who sent me.''

''For I have come down from heaven to do not my own will but the will of the One who sent me.''

-Jesus (John 5:30, John 6:38 CJB)

He requires those who call on him to call out of this type of purity of heart/motive. They are his instruments for special purposes, made holy, useful to the Master and prepared by him to do his good work.

This time around, it is all about loving the people in the world enough to reach them for Christ and establishing the Kingdom of God just because we desire His desire: we want to see His dream come to pass in our generation.

“My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one—'' Jesus our Messiah (John 17:20-22 NIV)

'' In the last days

the mountain of the Lord’s temple will be established as the highest of the mountains; it will be exalted above the hills, and peoples will stream to it.

Many nations will come and say,

“Come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the temple of the God of Jacob. He will teach us his ways, so that we may walk in his paths.” The law will go out from Zion, the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.'' Micah 4:1-2

''In a large house there are articles not only of gold and silver, but also of wood and clay; some are for special purposes and some for common use. Those who cleanse themselves from the latter will be instruments for special purposes, made holy, useful to the Master and prepared to do any good work.'' 2 Timothy 2:20-21NIV
