I pray by the spirit of YHWH that we will take heed to the earnestness of the instruction from the heart of the Lord as he says: ''Don’t despise prophecies'' 1 Thessalonians 5:20
What are prophecies? Prophecies are Spirit-inspired messages, spoken or written revelations—words of instruction, exhortation or warning, or as the Message translation of the Bible puts it, 'a word from the Master '.
As the Apostle Peter said (and I can attest), ''For no prophecy ever originated because some man willed it [to do so—it never came by human impulse], but men spoke from God who were borne along (moved and impelled) by the Holy Spirit..'' 2 Peter 1:21AMPC
I plead with you my brothers and sisters, ''do not treat prophecy as if it were not important.'' (ICH)
Do not downplay, scoff or despise the words of Jesus through his people. By all means use your judgement: anything contrary to the already revealed will (word) of God i.e the scriptures should be regarded with caution. But if it is in line with his word, I beg you to listen.
Over the last few years, I have shared what the Lord Jesus laid in my spirit. None are my own words and though the Lord can speak through various means, conscientiously I look to confirm by the scriptures to ensure only the Lord leads. Nothing said came from me and I will always resist attempts to make me speak private human agendas. Now with deep love and heartfelt concern, I implore you to pay attention to those words. Words which included these: There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you were called; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all. Because of the grace allotted to me, I can respectfully tell you not to think of yourselves as being more important than you are; devote your minds to sound judgment since God has assigned to each of us a measure of faith. [Ephesians 4:4-6 NIV; Romans 12:3 VOICE]
Whether we be of the orthodoxy or reformed, messianic Jews, pentecostal or charismatic non-denominational, our Lord has apportioned to each one of us that measure of faith to excel in those parts of the body to which we are designated to the benefit of the whole body. Our unity in humility and love under the eternal leadership of Jesus (the word of God) is vital in this days.
Some directions have not proceeded because those chosen heard the words of a man but did not hear it as it was: the directives of God. In February, the short clip instructing us that it is time to let the spirit (rivers) FLOW was released. Shortly after, the outpouring of The spirit among students in Asbury occurred and the Lord showed me one vital truth: ''Forever, O Lord, Your word is settled in heaven [standing firm and unchangeable] Psalm 119:89AMP''. I have found consolation and strength in this truth. In as much as YHWH wants to work through us, he is not constrained by us. Whether we agree or cooperate or not, he will do what he said he will do with whosoever will come. May we not be overlooked or left behind. Amen.
So again I implore you, brothers and sisters, don't look at circumstances, men, institutions or worldly troubles, keep your gaze fully on Jesus. Celebrate the various gifts in our body ( the family of Jesus), learn and please, please, do not despise prophecies.
Our allegiance is with Christ Jesus our Lord.
With your ears you will hear a word from behind you: “This is the way; stay on it, whether you go to the right or the left.” Isaiah 30:21
''In the last days
the mountain of the Lord’s temple will be established as the highest of the mountains; it will be exalted above the hills, and peoples will stream to it.
Many nations will come and say,
“Come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the temple of the God of Jacob. He will teach us his ways, so that we may walk in his paths.” The law will go out from Zion, the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.'' Micah 4: 1-2
''A voice of one calling: 'In the wilderness prepare the way for the Lord; make straight in the desert a highway for our God.'' Isaiah 40:3
''The person without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God but considers them foolishness, and cannot understand them because they are discerned only through the Spirit.'' 1 Corinthians 2:14
