As waters cover the sea

This morning, Jesus brought this bible passage up:

But before people can pray to the Lord for help, they must believe in him. And before they can believe in the Lord, they must hear about him. And for anyone to hear about the Lord, someone must tell them. And before anyone can go and tell them, they must be sent. As the Scriptures say, “How wonderful it is to see someone coming to tell good news!”

(Romans 10:14‭-‬15 ERV)

YOU, however, have been sent! You are commissioned! (Matthew 28:19-20)

.

Now, here is the prophecy that was given by Habakkuk the prophet for this our time:

"This vision is for a future time. It describes the end, and it will be fulfilled. If it seems slow in coming, wait patiently, for it will surely take place. It will not be delayed.

Has not the Lord of Heaven’s Armies promised that the wealth of nations will turn to ashes? They work so hard, but all in vain! For as the waters fill the sea, the earth will be filled with an awareness of the glory of the Lord." Habakkuk 2:3‭, ‬13‭-‬14 NLT

The wait described by Habakkuk above IS over.

That prophecy is no longer in the future. It is for this our generation. Now is the time for its fulfilment.

Jesus said: "And the Good News I have shared about God’s kingdom will be told throughout the world. It will be spread to every nation. Then the end will come." Matthew 24:14 ERV

.

So, what is the glory of God? The glory of God is the word of God and its performance. The glory of God is the display, promotion, fulfilment and exultation of the word of God and its power (in every way, every day), and of the person and name of Jesus Christ. When God's word is exalted in our lives and world, the knowledge of the glory of God will cover the earth as sea waters cover the sea.

NOW is the time for its fulfilment.

Jesus and the Father expect a saturation. The waters do not just wet the sea, it covers it completely, totally and absolutely. That is Christ's expectation and mandate to us in this last leg of our race before the end - before this earth an era of mankind as we know it wraps up. The knowledge (awareness) of God's glory must cover the earth.

So what is expected of you and I practically?

1. Develop intimacy with God through his word daily. Ask and depend on God's spirit to help you. The more time you spend with Jesus through his word, worship and prayer, the more you will do and display his glory in your everyday life (with persecution: Mark10:30).

2. Give sacrificially to ministries that preach and publish the bible specifically. This includes publishers that not only publish but also distribute God's word in any format (Bible apps, bible projects/teachings on social media, print etc).

3. Connect with people and form Bible study groups - 2 or 3 of your family, friends and neighbours and regularly go deeper into understanding God.

4. Share the good news of Jesus with people you meet. Just open your mouth and talk - develop your boldness in talking about Jesus, and following the prompts of God in your spirit by following people (social media or real life) that practise doing that naturally day-to-day. Boldness comes from the Holy Spirit- pray for Boldness and remain filled with the Spirit by praying transparently and intimately in the spirit- singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord. Ephesians 5:19.

5. Do anything you feel He is leading you into. Do it NOW! No time for doubt or delay. Now is all you have got. All you need is what you have at the moment. Start with whatever is in your hand. Even if it is just a stick (rod), God can use it to part the red sea - you just stretch it!. Obey! (Exodus 4:2,20)

.

To those that have been specifically given the ministry to publish or publicise God's word in any format or on any and every platform- God is counting you. You will give an account of your labour. And Church, the Lord is counting on us to devotedly support them with everything. It's a team effort, it's the last push before the end. Run! Do not let anything hinder you. Run focused - this is the last push. This is the very last leg. I urge you - Give it your ALL!
