Dear Believer,
That sin is not the problem. And sickness is never the issue, Neither are feelings of hopeless or inadequacy, Plus, experience of poverty and lack can actually be good for the soul. The problem is remaining there! You can get up. You can get out of it. Jesus finished his assignment! The hold of sin and it's effects have been dealt with! Sin, sickness, poverty and darkness have no power over us any longer! He may rage, but the devil IS defeated! It all starts with our belief What do you believe? When Jesus said '"IT IS FINISHED!" on the cross, did he mean it? What was really finished? Well, The old agreement (covenant) was finished. It's requirements were fufilled. It's laws were abolished. It's curses revoked It's blessings extended. Sin's penalty -death- paid. And our adversary (the devil) rendered impotent. Now, The fight is not against sin, sickness, or lack It is a fight of FAITH. A fight to stay believing God's word in the face of contrary circumstances. A fight to speak in agreement with God's words despite feelings, sight, and sound. A fight to keep our heart focused on the unseen reality of God's holy truth against the screaming lies of a fleshly physical world. This is is the battle. But the great news is that- the outcome is predetermined - We WIN! So, Welcome to Christianity! The victorious battle of FAITH.
